DNR Black River Fisheries Assessment - Public Comment Needed
This comprehensive Fisheries Assessment analyzes past data and the current condition of the Black River Watershed and makes recommendations for improvements in the fisheries. The Black River Assessment outlines the physical and biological characteristics of the watershed and addresses the history, geology, land use, barriers, water quality, biology, fisheries, recreational use and citizen involvement of the watershed. NEWS Best Management Practices Training - Now Online! SEMCOG, in partnership with the Southeast Michigan Partners for Clean Water, has developed this program to assist local communities with their goodhousekeeping requirements of the Phase II Stormwater Permit and to protect our area waterways. PowerPoint presentation, poster, fact sheets, and a certificate of completion available. Topics include Maintenance Garages and Storage Yards and Landscaping Practices.
